You instruct us to proceed with works

6. Installation & Access Requirements
You agree to:
Provide safe and reasonable access to the installation site
Ensure the site meets basic safety and electrical requirements
Inform us of any hazards, restrictions, or special access conditions
Delays caused by lack of access or site readiness may incur additional charges.
7. Equipment & Materials
All equipment supplied by Silk & Mackman remains our property until full payment is received. We use approved, certified products suitable for the intended purpose. Manufacturer warranties apply where provided.
8. Maintenance & Repairs
Maintenance services may be provided under:
A separate maintenance agreement, or
One‑off call‑out arrangements
We are not responsible for faults caused by misuse, third‑party interference, or equipment not supplied by us.
9. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
Invoices are due within 30 days of the invoice date
Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act
We may suspend services if payments remain outstanding
10. Cancellations
If you wish to cancel scheduled works:
More than 48 hours’ notice: no charge
Less than 48 hours’ notice: call‑out or cancellation fees may apply
Special‑order equipment may be non‑refundable
11. Liability
Silk & Mackman will not be liable for:
Losses arising from misuse or unauthorised modification of equipment
Indirect or consequential losses (e.g., business interruption)
Failures caused by third‑party networks, power outages, or environmental conditions
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
